Maestro
A Hebrew music trivia game I designed and shipped to the App Store. Live matches against other players, hundreds of questions on the Israeli music we grew up on, and a ranking that shows who is actually a maestro.
Israeli music is a language people here actually know. Zohar Argov, Ofra Haza, Shlomo Artzi, Rita, Omer Adam, Eden Ben Zaken, Noa Kirel. The songs on the radio, the missing word in the chorus, who sang it, which year, which album.
I wanted a trivia battle that puts that knowledge to the test. Not a generic music quiz. A Hebrew game about the music we grew up on, live against other players, with a score and a rank that means something.
Maestro is live on the App Store as מאסטרו. I built it as a product: the questions, the match, the stats, the look.
- Hundreds of questions on Israeli music, Mizrahi, pop, rock, hip hop, and Eurovision, from the 70s through now.
- Live matches against other players. A timer, four answers, and a round that tells you who was faster.
- Four difficulty levels: easy, medium, hard, and extreme. Pick a stage name, earn points, climb the ranking.
- Stats in one place: wins, losses, accuracy, streaks, games played, RP, and a rank that moves, from Open Microphone toward Unplugged.
- Deep answers after the round, so a miss still teaches you something.

Live matches
Two players enter a live round with a shared timer and four answers, and the result shows who answered and who was faster.
Question design
Each question has a category (Mizrahi, pop, rock, hip hop, Eurovision), a difficulty (easy, medium, hard, or extreme), four answers with one correct, and a deep answer shown after the round.
Shipping to the App Store
